 How far is Park Farm from Windsor Castle? 

Park Farm is 1 mile from Windsor town centre; 1 ½ miles from the Castle. 
Turn right out of our drive way and keep going! After 20 minutes walk you reach the pedestrian zone of Windsor through which you can stroll up to the castle.  
 
Alternatively a taxi is £7 right to the Castle entrance. We use Windsor Cars (+44 1753 677677) or Uber opertes in this area too. Driving is an option – 5 minutes – however beware of car park charges and roadside parking restrictions. 
 
 

How far is Park Farm from Heathrow Airport? 

By car or taxi the journey takes on average 15 to 20 minutes. Allow extra time during rush hour periods 
 
 

Does Park Farm have parking? 

Park farm has free off street parking for guests staying at our B&B. 
 
 

Is there anywhere local to eat? 

The Prince Albert pub located opposite us offers good quality, value for money food 7 days a week. A 10 minute stroll up Clewer Hill Road will bring you to The Gurkha Royale, offering delicious Indian, Oriental and Nepalese cuisine. A little further away 15 minutes by foot is The Alma pub on Springfield Road. Relaxed atmosphere and great pub food. 
 
 

Is Breakfast included in the price? 

Full English and Continental Breakfast is always included in the room price at Park Farm. We serve from 7 am to 9.30 midweek and 7.30 to 9.30 at the weekend. For dietary requirements / requests please call us in advance to check 
 
 

Is it easy to get to London from Windsor? 

Travelling to London couldn’t be easier. Windsor & Eton Riverside station takes you Waterloo. Trains run every half hour and stop at Twickenham (think Rugby fans), Richmond, Clapham Junction, Vauxhall, to name but a few. Journey time is 55 minutes. 
 
Alternatively Slough station, just 3 miles from Windsor, has a high speed link to Paddington. Journey time from 17 minutes. 
 
 

Are Children allowed in the B&B? 

Park Farm only allows children over the age of 12 years of age. We unfortunately have no family rooms and for comfort do not permit extra beds in the rooms. 
 
 

Are pets allowed? 

Sadly we do not allow pets in the B&B. Guests have stayed and kept their dogs in the car overnight. One of the gates into Windsor Great Park is a two minute walk away, for exercising and we can always try and offer you a ground floor room so you are able to reverse your car up to the bedroom window. 
 
 

Can I be assured of fire safety in the property? 

Park Farm has fully fitted state of the ark fire alarm system and emergency lighting system with is serviced and inspected annually. All bedroom doors are top of the range fire doors and fire extinguishers are positioned at key points throughout the property. We take our guests safety very seriously. 
 
Please also note we operate a no smoking policy throughout the property and have a covered bench outside for any one wishing to smoke. 
 
 

Apart from the Castle is there anything else to do in Windsor? 

Yes! Windsor has plenty to offer. Stroll through Windsor Great park, enjoy the views of the famous 3 mile Long Walk and visit Alexandra Gardens where the Queen opened the Edwardian Grandstand on her 80th Birthday.  
 
Alternatively take a River Cruise on the Thames and enjoy the sights of Windsor from a different perspective. Cross the Bridge to Eton and stroll down the relatively un spoilt High Street. During term time you will most likely see the Eton Boys ( 19 former Prime Ministers came from Eton) who attend the famous Eton College racing between lessons. 
 
Then there is of course the many shops, cafes, restaurants and bars Windsor has to offer! 
 
Close by is The Savill gardens, 35 acres of ornamental gardens, open all year round, or explore the neighboring picturesque towns of Marlow and Henley. 
 
You may wish to chance you luck at the races. Ascot Racecourse and Windsor Racecourse have events all year round. Together with horse racing, concerts, Art Fairs, Exhibitions etc are held – there really is something for everyone
